Research Assistant Professor

Ji-Young Choi received her PhD in Sociology from Korea University in South Korea. The dissertation title is “A Comparative Study on Productive Activities among Older Adults between South Korea and China”. She received BA in Sociology from Peking University in China and MA in Economics from SungKyunKwan University in South Korea. Prior to her recent appointment at University of Macau, she worked as a research professor at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) and Korea University. Her research interests include gerontology, sociology of family, comparative study, quantitative methods, and scenario modelling.
