Yi Kong is post-doctoral fellow at University of Macau. He received his PhD degree at University of Zhejiang in 2018. Prior to joining University of Macau, he has worked in Zhejiang Police Professional Academy for 19 years. His research interests concentrate on the research of crime and punishment. He has published more than 40 papers in professional academic journals such as Criminal Law Review, Journal of the Chinese People's Public Security University, Chinese Criminal Law Journal. He has published 5 monographs and obtained 2 software copyrights granted by the National Copyright Administration. The system of “Re-offending Risk Assessment of Inmates in Community Correction Centers” (CIRAI) developed by him has been used in all correction centers in Zhejiang Province since 2011, and the system of “Offender Risk Assessment and Intervention” (SPEC) also developed by him has been used in all prisons in Zhejiang Province since 2016. He became a member of Evidence-Based Correction Expert Group in 2012, Risk Assessment of Offenders Expert Group in 2016, and Re-offending Crime Expert Group of the Ministry of Justice of China in 2018.
